All of our collection designs are printed on 100% cotton stock. This luxurious paper holds rich, deep impressions and has a soft, elegant, tactile quality that lends itself well to all of our print methods. Our paper is available in two weights and three colors.
110#
Single thick paper weight available for all of our print methods
220#
Double thick paper weight available for letterpress and foil only
Our cotton stock is available in the following shades
*Ecru is available for letterpress and foil printing only*
Our collection designs are available in three print methods - digital, letterpress, and foil. We also have samples available for purchase if you prefer to see the difference in person before you place your order.
A flat printing method that uses ink to print onto paper. It is the most budget friendly option but allows us to print full color images for envelope liners and fine art scenes! This type of printing is only available on our 110# cotton paper in white and pearl white.
We are unable to print metallic colors using a digital print method.
Letterpress printing is a 500+ year old process of printmaking that yields remarkable type and image results. A labor intensive process that involves a cast iron machine that literally presses ink into paper. It’s pretty rad! This method is available on both our 110# and 220# cotton paper in white, pearl white, and ecru.
We are unable to print metallic colors using letterpress.
Foil printing is done on a letterpress machine with a heating element, which transfers the foil to your paper. It is perfect for metallic colors and adds amazing visual and tactile impact. We’re huge fans! This method is available on both our 110# and 220# cotton papers in white, pearl white, and ecru.
The following ink + foil colors are available for all of our suite designs. Inks are used for digital + letterpress* print methods and foil is used for the foil print method.
*Because of the nature of letterpress printing, subtle variations in ink colors are to be expected - no two pieces will be exactly alike. It’s what makes them special!
We love receiving non-white envelopes in the mail and want to give you colorful alternatives when sending save the dates, invitations and other stationery to your friends and guests.
Foil print method is required for envelope printing on the envelope colors below. To upgrade the print method for ONLY the envelopes, be sure to add Envelope Printing | Foil Upgrade to your order.
Choose from any of the following calligraphy styles for your suite design.
Of course! You’ll receive one digital PDF proof before your design goes to print. Any changes to this proof and beyond incur a $75 per revision fee. We recommend printing a paper copy of your proof and putting at least two other sets of eyes on the design to catch any typos or errors! Changes requested after the design goes to print may not be accommodated.
Don’t fret my dear, we created this collection for this very reason :) Since these suites are semi-custom, the entire process will take about 2-3 weeks. Printing is an additional 1-2 weeks for digital and 3-4 weeks for letterpress and foil. Don’t forget to add in some extra time if you’re including envelope addressing.
Yes! And, we would love to do this for you. Nothing makes us happier than hearing you want to include this special touch to your invitations. Take a look at our Envelope Addressing Services and add it to your order.
Take a look at our Envelope Addressing Guide for information about formatting and submitting your address list to us. We also have a Stationery Etiquette Guide to help you as you assemble your list and decide on the wording for your invitation.
All of our orders include 20% additional envelopes for this reason, so you should be OK.
Unfortunately, we have discovered by trial and error that every post office judges the postage price differently. Our post office might say 50 cents is sufficient, while another says 71 or even 94 cents. It’s best to wait until you receive your order and take a complete suite to your local post office to be accurately weighed to insure you have the right amount of postage.
We do not offer this service because we prefer that you have the opportunity to see your printed suite in person before they are mailed. If you added handwritten envelope addressing to your order, this also gives you the chance to see all of our mini masterpieces before releasing them to the post office. We double check all envelopes prior to shipping them to you; however, we are mere humans so let us know immediately if we made a mistake and we'll correct it ASAP!
