when should i book calligraphy services?
I book calligraphy on a first-come, first-served basis, so as soon as you decide you need calligraphy, get in touch. For wedding invitation addressing, it's a good idea to book a calligrapher at the same time as your stationer (and I'd love to help you with those too)
will you proof read my address list?
Yes and No. Once I get your list, I'll review to see if I have any questions or to correct any etiquette issues; however, I'll write out names and addresses exactly as you send them to me so it is your responsibility to spell check all names and addresses for accuracy (if something looks off, I'll check in but I do not confirm accuracy of addresses). I'm available by email to answer any questions you have prior to sending your list.
HOW MANY EXTRA ENVELOPES DO YOU NEED FOR ADDRESSING?
I'll need 20% more than the number of addresses on your list to accommodate for ink splatter and re-writes, so if you have 100 addresses, please send at least 120 envelopes.
CAN YOU ADDRESS MY ENVELOPES I GOT FROM ANOTHER STATIONER?
Of course! Envelope addressing is how I got started and I would love to be part of your vendor team to put the cherry on top of your invitations...no matter who designed them :)
